My Testimony and How God Has Led Me.

The purpose of this testimony is not intended to be an all-inclusive autobiography. I’m trying to tell how I kept Jesus out of my heart, and He finally got me to listen to Him.

How do we get to the Father?
Deut. 26:15 Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

The first 19 years as a Christian (working since 2000 as a pastor), one of the things I came to do was to exalt a false Christ in the place of His Father. Since 2015, I’ve come to understand that we would be completely without hope were it not for the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Knowing the Bible describes worship of the Father and Son, we should not replace the worship of the Father with worshipping the Son, as I had been led to do.

It is derived from a Greek term signifying, “What is known only by the initiated.” The apostle says, “Great is the mystery of godliness;” then he explains the term by saying, “God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” 1 Tim. 3:16.
