i was wondering about your comments stating that God was not waiting for evil to get more evil. We have seen over and over again in Biblical history that our Lord waits until the cup of iniquity is full before stepping in to destroy a nation or people. As you state in the chapter 15 review, we will be judging the “Judge.” God will have made the individual decisions in our cases based on our acts but we will be able to review those decisions and declare God a just Judge. He would not be able to be declared just if there was any chance of a person or group of people being saved, therefore He would have to wait for them to have reached the point of no return.
Yes! Fully agreed. God is merciful and the cup of iniquity will be filled. I sure MEANT to be understood as saying that God isn’t waiting for sin to become more sinful. There’s plenty of that all around. He WILL allow all of us to continue until we are FULLY meant to do either good or evil, but He’s waiting for His people to become righteous with the purity of His Son–Christ in us, the hope of glory. When we are fully revealing Christ to the world, He will come and take us home as His own. Sorry for any confusion!
Ezekiel 28:25 Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.
Ezekiel 28:26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.
