I am neither a political activist nor an enthusiast, but I am a Bible prophecy student—therefore interested in the goings on of the governments of the world. Today I speak to the next United States President. After all, the nations are prepping to fulfill the prophecy of the second half of Revelation 13, verses 11-18!

Many kings / leaders in the Bible liked God’s people:

  • Potiphar didn’t believe his wife over Joseph, else Joseph would have been slain – Genesis 39
      • Civil power = Potiphar (captain of the guard/army – a powerful military force)
      • Apostate, persecuting religious power = Potiphar’s adulterous wife (see Revelation 17:4-5)
      • God’s Faithful remnant = Joseph
  • Ahasuarus, with Mordecai and Esther, had to be tricked by Haman into genocide – Esther 3
      • Civil power = Ahasuarus
      • Apostate, persecuting religious power = Haman
      • God’s Faithful remnant = Mordecai and Esther
  • Nebuchadnezzar gave a second chance to the three faithful HebrewsDaniel 3
      • Civil power = Nebuchadnezzar
      • Apostate, persecuting religious power = civil command to worship the image (see Rev. 13:11-18)
      • God’s Faithful remnant = The three Hebrews: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego
  • Darius, not the 122, actually fasted for Daniel in the lion’s den – Daniel 6
      • Civil power = Darius
      • Apostate, persecuting religious power = the unfaithful 122 presidents and princes
      • God’s Faithful remnant = Daniel
  • Herod (not Herodias and daughter) feared/respected JohnMark 6
      • Civil power = Herod
      • Apostate, persecuting religious power = Herodias and her harlot daughter
      • God’s Faithful remnant = John the Baptist
  • Governor Pilate said, “What evil hath he done?” to the Jews who were against JesusMatthew 27
      • Civil power = Pilate
      • Apostate, persecuting religious power = the Jews
      • God’s Faithful remnant = Jesus and His scattered disciples

So, if there really were a dedicated Christian for a United States leader, it would follow the Biblical narrative to have him on the side of those who are persecuted—even unto death! It will make better Biblical sense that he will be ignorant of the real purposes of all the parties around him (the religious right, KKK, BLM, AntiFa, health leaders, big tech, scientists, etc.)

Faithful leaders of the Bible:

The Bible tells full length stories of Joseph, Esther and Daniel. Three people which were in high positions (always 2nd in command) with rock-solid faith.

Joseph:

Joseph was able to bring God’s people in Egypt through a tragic time of famine. (Made 2nd to the king in Genesis 41:39-45.)

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

Amos 8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

After the days of Joseph in Egypt, God brought His people out of the bondage of Egypt. Later, Egypt came against God’s people with what seemed to be a death decree.

Exodus 14:10 when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.

Exodus 14:11 And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness?

Esther:

Esther was used of God to keep His people from the death decree. (Made queen in Esther 2:17.)

Revelation 13:15 And he (America) had power to give life unto the image of the beast (“The “image to the beast” represents that form of apostate Protestantism which will be developed when the Protestant churches shall seek the aid of the civil power for the enforcement of their dogmas” GC 445.2), that the image of the beast should both speak (laws), and cause (enforcement of those laws) that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Notice what happened before the days of Esther: Cyrus, king of Persia, was used of God to call His people out of Babylon. The prophecy was given many years in advance found in Isaiah 44:28. That same prophecy was fulfilled in the record of Ezra 1:1-3. Later, Persia was a tool in the hand of the enemy to bring a death decree against God’s people. See Esther 3:8-15. America was a safe haven for God’s people coming out of Roman Catholicism and America will later make an image to Roman Catholicism and bring the death decree against God’s people.

Daniel:

God spoke through Daniel clearly to pronounce judgment on an apostate Babylonian king on the last night of his life (at the end of Daniel 5). (Daniel was given position: 1:19-20, 2:48, 3:30, 6:3, 28.)

Revelation 18:1 I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

Revelation 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

The nations of the Medes and Persians that Daniel prophesied about to destroy Babylon were later the tool to throw Daniel (representing God’s people) into the lion’s den during a death decree. Daniel 6.

So, God will use North America as He did other nations in the lives of Joseph, Esther and Daniel (not without the inevitable death decree, of course)… but one thing I do not see in the prophecy of Revelation 13:11-18 is another tarrying time like in Matthew 25:5 with the ten virgins (which was fulfilled in the early times of the Advent movement, in the 1840s). There doesn’t seem to be a prophetic reversal in the authority and purposes of the second beast of Revelation 13 (except as we know there will be a brief respite or withdrawal as in the history of the destruction of Jerusalem, AD 67-70, a time of peace and safety?). Nonetheless, both Daniel 3 and 6 show faithful leaders in the cabinet… where are they? During the presidential campaigning of 2015, Dr. Ben Carson has shown himself unfaithful to the Sabbath commandment on two public occassions, and therefore cannot be one that we are looking for, as the books of Genesis and Daniel do not have an unfaithful record for Joseph or Daniel and his friends.

One thing notable is the following: Dr. Ben Carson spoke at the “South Carolina Freedom Summit” Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX), Marco Rubio (R-FL), and Tim Scott (R-SC), Governors Scott Walker (R-WI) and Bobby Jindal (R-LA), former HP CEO Carly Fiorina, and Dr. Ben Carson were among the speakers at the South Carolina Freedom Summit.  May 9, 2015. (Copied November 12th, 2015 from https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=what%20was%20the%20south%20carolina%20freedom%20summit. May 9th, 2015 was a Saturday, while Dr. Ben Carson was speaking in a presidential campaign, 10 minutes into the speech, he mentioned just holding a press conference earlier that morning. The hours were just after 1 pm Pacific Time, and 4 pm Eastern Time, hours in which the sun had not set. What Revelation shows is God’s people being faithful until death during serious physical (end of 6th seal, 6:12-17), moral (end of 6th trumpet, 9:20-21) religious and economic confusion (end of 2nd beast of 13, 16-17). Notice this quote:

A Quote from the Devil

“The Lord has clearly defined the road to the city of God; but the great apostate has changed the signpost, setting up a false one–a spurious sabbath. He says: ‘I will work at cross-purposes with God. I will empower my delegate, the man of sin, to take down God’s memorial, the seventh-day Sabbath. Thus will I show the world that the day sanctified and blessed by God has been changed. That day shall not live in the minds of the people. I will obliterate the memory of it. I will place in its stead a day bearing not the credentials of heaven, a day that cannot be a sign between God and His people. I will lead the people who accept this day, to place upon it the sanctity that God placed upon the seventh day. Through my vicegerent I will exalt myself. The first day shall be extolled, and the Protestant world shall receive this spurious sabbath as genuine. Through the non-observance of the Sabbath God instituted, I will bring His law into contempt. The words, ‘A sign between me and you throughout your generations,’ I will make to serve on the side of my sabbath. Thus the world will become mine. I will be ruler of the earth, prince of the world. I will so control the minds under my power that God’s Sabbath shall be an object of contempt. A sign? I will make the observance of the seventh day a sign of disloyalty to the authorities of earth. Human laws shall be made so stringent that men and women will not dare to observe the seventh-day Sabbath. For fear of wanting food and clothing, they will join with the world in transgressing God’s law; and the earth will be wholly under my dominion.’”  {4BC 1171.8}

Can a Seventh-day Adventist even BE a president with respect to the Sabbath commandment?

One thing God is looking for is faithfulness to His Commandments before His second coming (Homework: read “Without a Wedding Garment,” Chapter 24, Christ’s Object Lessons).

Unfortunately, it would make good Biblical sense to have the apex of Catholicisma Jesuit— as leader of the Papacy, and the apex of apostate Protestantisman unfaithful Protestant—as the leaders together to fulfill the latter half of Revelation 13.

“Said the angel, ‘Deny self; ye must step fast.’ Some of us have had time to get the truth and to advance step by step, and every step we have taken has given us strength to take the next. But now time is almost finished, and what we have been years learning, they will have to learn in a few months. They will also have much to unlearn and much to learn again. Those who would not receive the mark of the beast and his image when the decree goes forth, must have decision now to say, Nay, we will not regard the institution of the beast” {Early Writings 67}.
